As every year, and in 2018, the Ballet Art Dance Academy focused on the talents of ballet enthusiasts and developed effective programs, according to the aspirations of each student. Under the artistic guidance of Iolanda Petrescu, the only Romanian instructor certified Bolshoi Theater, Ballet Art students followed individual training and training programs. Thus, anyone who wanted to attend an international profile school had special programs. “Two of Ballet Art pupils, Ana Popescu and Mara Bitirez, were admitted to” Ballettakademie Wiener Staatsoper “, one of the most important ballet companies in the world, where famous ballerinas and choreographers such as Marie Taglioni, Louis Dupont, August Bournonville, Rudolf Nureyev, “explains Iolanda Petrescu, artistic director of the Ballet Art Dance Academy.
The year 2018 also marked the continuation of the competitions where the students of the Ballet Art Dance Academy received important prizes, as every year. One of these contests, the Golden Stars, was a new Occupation Prize for Ballet Art students, with most prizes in the 8 to 11 year old category.
Collaboration with the National Theater of Operetta and Musical “Ion Dacian” was another notable project, this year, Ballet Art introducing Academy students to the stage, giving them support and motivating them to succeed. “One Night in Venice, one night in Vienna” is the repertoire show where Ballet Art students demonstrated their talents under the guidance of choreographer and mentor Iolanda Petrescu, the prime-singer of the Ion Dacian National Operetta and Musical Theater. For this show, choreography was signed by Iolanda Petrescu and Andreea Toma.
Another branding project was the Christmas Joy show, performed by Perform and Semiprivat groups of the Ballet Art Academy, on December 17, at the Bucharest National Theater.
All these extraordinary results are due to the sustained work and the continuous bond between the students, teachers and choreographers of the Ballet Art Dance Academy.
And after a full year follows a short break for the holiday of the Winter Holidays. From 2019, the Academy’s students and teachers will continue their consecrated projects and will surprise us with new ideas and performances of the Ballet Art brand.
Beautiful holidays and a year full of joy! Happy New Year!
